i was wondering how i could get bots installed? i googled it and found bot installers.. but its a exec. how do i install that on a ftp?

i have podbot for my cs servers but i dont think they are compat with a dod server.?


help any1?

To install bots via ftp, you need to run the executable and tell it to install to some random folder (on the desktop or something) and then you can ftp those files to the server. I'm not sure the executable will have linux files (libraries, .so) because I only use linux for my dod servers. If it does this method should work for both Windows and Linux.

Are you using Shrikebot?

Shrikebot works well. Sturmbot I've heard has better features but was never completely finished. I think most all DOD servers with bots use Shrikebot, much more support there.

Shrikebot name is more stylish if you ask me.

Sturmbot sounds better to me because there is a map called dod_sturm.
