I know with mani admin plugin if you type @ message as a player, it will send the message to all admins, but it doesn't work in sourcemod.

Does such a plugin exist?

Can someone edit/create so the message appears in a Box please like sm_msay , my Server Gets Spammed a Lot "MEDIC!" so it would be handy to have So it appears in a box

It appears in chat, that's the default behaviour since everything else disappears within 10 seconds. As an admin you want to check back on what was sent to you, which is only possible with chat (plus it uses colors, so it's easy to find).

It's built-in to Sourcemod

Any player that doesn't have an admin flag can type "@ hello" and the message is sent to any admins on the server.

No idea why the OP seems to think it doesn't work.

this only works with BAT (the-x-soft)
I used BAT before, it works there, not with sourcemod.
I am aware SM was trying to build this in but they failed, so no work around ?

Works fine on my server.

Perhaps you've configured something incorrectly or have disabled a plugin?

Maybe the command only works in team chat (as it used to in mani IIRC) .. I forget now as I'm an admin I don't send the command but can read the messages sent to me by ordinary players.

It's in basechat.smx

perhaps it's related to your sourcemod.cfg ?


cfg/sourcemod/sourcemod.cfg

And yeah it is a say_team command
