I'm inquring about a problem I've noticed in my server for a pretty long time. Occasionally, our payload carts will bug out.

Get stuck, don't sync with the track, complete the run, etc. I've always assumed it's a Valve issue, but I like to google it every now and then, now I'd figure I'd ask.

It doesn't ever seem to be discussed anywhere, nor does anyone else talk about it. So I imagine it may be some small bug I don't notice, which is why I came here as well.

Has anyone noticed something like this before?

wierd, tickrate could cause this? did you change tickrate by any chance?

I don't think so? Isn't Tf2 locked at 66?

I wonder if the payload cart problem is specific to some custom maps. I don't seem to have any problems with the cart until I load the map 'pl_cranetop_b8.bsp'.

On that map, the cart is pushed along by BLU for a bit and then it will stop. If the players wait a bit (like around 20 seconds or more) the cart will start moving again. This process occurs over and over again (start/stop/wait) on that map. I like the map, but players get too frustrated with the cart issue to play it.

Well I see it on stock maps too which is the thing, it's a semi regular occurrence. What made me start this thread was last night we were on Hoodoo and it happened, round starts with no hud for the cart, and it just sort of existed till we restarted the round.
