Just FYI, it is possible to block your STEAMID even in HL1 based games. I had a hacker on my NS server come in with STEAM_ID_PENDING and ruin the server. I was unable to ban him and was forced to repeatedly kick him to get him to finally go away. Thankyou for writing a blugin that does the kicking for me!

Could someone make version that would disable IN_ATTACK/IN_ATTACK2 buttons when having STEAM_ID_PENDING? And show some message like 'Please, wait... checking Steam ID'?

if he does not get a steamid after 30 seconds, he won't get a steamid for the rest of the map - so why wait?

Cheater becomes easy target. Which is opposite from what he wanted at first place: he gets annoyed instead of everybody else and leaves (after shittalk which could be blocked too actually).

Yeah there is a new program that allows people to connect to servers without a steamid and it shows as steamid pending. I don't know if valve is going to fix this though I'm not sure how they can.

Unless they add a 2nd check on the connect process, if steamID confirm fails first time, 2nd time should catch it, else remove client from server.

@EKS: how can i incorporate this into AMXBANS, or is this a simple kick and not a ban script?

It is a kick program, there is no need to ban such users.

anyways, you could not ban them, as they have no steamid ;)
