Well, I'm not sure what your problem is, the majority of servers running this plugin are CS:S. It's possible that those special characters aren't allowed in a description.

From your list, for example it doesn't work for 85.17.228.138:27025

(of course I've deleted steamtools ext and your plugin - because it doesn't work. I had CVAR in autoexec and server.cfg, steamtools and your plugins were on the lists, but setting CVAR st_gamedesc_override didn't do enything)

It does work, you need to be aware of that right off the bat. It just isn't working for YOU at the moment.

You don't need to have the cvar in both autoexec.bat and server.cfg.
st_gamedesc_override "NAME HERE" in server.cfg is enough.

You need to reboot the server.

As you have deleted them, gave up, I don't understand why you are commenting?

No. It just doesn't work. Game Description Override from Test plugin (compiled with steamtools.inc): https://forums.alliedmods.net/showthread.php?t=170630 doesn't work too. So, I'm sure one extension or plugin is causing problem... or It just doesn't work for CS:S... ;)
But on my GunGame server I'm using gamedesc_override included in GG Mod (http://forums.alliedmods.net/showthr...hlight=gungame) and description works (restart is needed to change the description).

WOW you should uninstall CSS mate seriously. IT WORKS ON CSS!!! So does "Game Description Override from Test plugin"
I am personally using this plugin by the Dr. successfully.

If it's not working for you, investigate why rather than just saying that it doesn't work..

Maybe you should read my post again? I told you - it doesn't work for my FFA server. I gave you list of my plugins and extenstions. What esle could I do? I have no errors (connected with this plugin/extension) i log files. And the cvar seems to be working, but on the server list it's still Counter-Strike: Source.
