Hi Alliedmods Family,

Hope you are fine. I am not sure this is right sub-channel for this question and if wrong please move.

I wanna edit cs 1.6 maps but not completely. For example i am thinking to put my server's name to the A plant wall in de_dust2 or somewhere.

In short i just want to edit .bsp maps for putting my server's name on some walls. That's all. Any help would be pleased.

EDIT1: I found some articles i first have to decompile .bsp to .map and i found a tool. I opened .map with J.A.C.K. and it's working good but how can i put a text to a wall?

Or you can simply use a plugin and put a sprite on the wall.

Thank you for this suggestion but to be honest i couldn't figure out how can i do this. Could you please explain more detailed? And what plugin?

And by the way again i wanna this job (after sprite job) because i want to learn how to do that.

I don't think that editing the entire map is an optimal way of doing that. That way players need to download a new map + a new .wad file, while with a plugin only a .spr file is needed.
