I actually had that idea in mind, it could be a toggle when stages are added yeah, but don't except it anytime soon though ;_;

I'm having a really tough semester, I started coding the timer at summer vacation, hopefully I'll have the time to keep developing instead of keeping the project paused and pushing a single commit like once a week :/

Yeah i don't think people are really expecting you to be working on this full time. But while this plugin might not seem very popular at the moment once you get ranks and it has a good system as in it gives you points based on your rank and others ranks instead of every time you finish most servers will swap over to this time and it will gain popularity pretty quickly. Well i think so at least!

So take the time now and keep it slow and just make sure it dosnt have too many problems while the users using this plugin is rather small so you dont run into too many users complaining and stuff at the moment and obviously uni/schoool/colledge comes first.

Also, any chance you could add admin/vip tags where the "a" flag would have VIP in front of your name and the "b" flag would have ADMIN?
CkSurf does it pretty well.


Last thing, I read halfway through the thread that you may be adding prostyle (no autobhop) or a tutorial on how to add new styles, any update on this?

This timer dosn't really need it.

Its not like ckSurf so most plugins can actually add name tags and stuff unlike with ckSurf due to ckSurf basically taking control over the chat.

These plugins work fine with Shavits timer:

Theres quite a few more out there that can also add tags to your admins/VIP's if you take the time to find them.

I would reccomend redownloading shavits timer from the git hub, Recompiling it yourself with the latest version of sourcemod and then put all of the new stuff on your server overriding the previous ones.

I've noticed a lot of those kind of plugins stop working when there's 40+ people on your server. The admin tags and chat colour rarely show up etc

Edit: the tag one doesn't do anything on my server running zipcore, maybe some plugins conflicting.. (I realise it might work with shavit's timer but no time to test now)

CkSurf's tags have never failed me, they always 100% of the time show up unless I manually turn them off with the provided cvar. That's why I was asking

You need to recompile all of the plugins using the latest sourcemod using the .sp files.
