In game if player duck-duck on "LAB1_STAIR2B" texture — plugin play other sound (standard step).
In "materials.txt":
Code:
M LAB1_STAIR2B
You can test this in cs_747 map on ladder in CT base.
I hope on fix...
I'm using more accurate sound texture detection than VALVE does. I will not make this plugin inaccurate like hlsdk. You could write VALVE about "player making non-default stepsound when player middle is not touching the ground". But they will probably ignore or even ban you for trying to tell them something.

Is there a plugin that allows double-duck but blocks silent run? Can't seem to find one out there, but who knows, it might be incorporated.

MPNumB, hi! Can you add useful fix in player sequence? If player send duck fast, then he fall down on ground, and if in fall down time again send duck, then player set "crouch_idle" sequence in fly!

See pics:
30 FPS (like in game view):
[IMG]http://img504.**************/img504/7375/duckwq.gif[/IMG]

300 FPS:
[IMG]http://img709.**************/img709/6771/duckt.gif[/IMG]

Is it not +jump, this fast two +duck commands.

Need to change "crouch_idle" (#2) sequence to "idle1" (#1), which player do not "ducking" in fly...

Can only speak from my own experience : it depends on the server. On one of my servers it was working only with the antidoubleduck plugin but on the other servers it works perfectly alone...

My advice is that u try it out without the antidoubleduck plug first.

Hi Numb,

we are using this plugin on our servers.
and here i have a question.
as we know, that silentrun has another cheat that the hitbox will not be sync with model, so that you think you had aimed on the model but actually you didn't shoot on the hitbox.
Does the plugin also fix that?

In order to make silent-run usless it's enough to use this one. If you want to block doubleducking permanently (no ability to peak over 64unit boxes), use only this one (however I wouldn't recommend using it cause it uses more CPU).
I made "anti silent-run" plugin specially for you russian-run noobs/haters, so you won't use "anti-doubleduck" plugin what does more then just removes this fantastic feature of the game what you guys hate.

I made my research what top people of CS scene think abou it, and noone told me an answer what would stasify me by giving detailed explanation and proof why/how, so I made a personal test plugin about and I'm proud to say that those noobies who say that hitboxes have more problems when russian-walking then simply moving, are just noobies who get owned to much by skilled people - below you can get my test results on demos how hitboxes work - you will notice that they are not worse than in any other condition.
