I'm not an expert, but I'm pretty sure the MOTD has never supported new tab/window openings.

also i mean it opens in the same window not a new window sry. with ur fix nothing happens when i click a button on a site.

That kind of makes sense, it's a weird fix. Setting the location to an invalid site after the fact is bound to generate some weird stuff considering the whole MOTD panel is already extremely weird in CSGO. Maybe JavaScript is causing the href links to come from domain 'deadsite.notworking'.

I personally haven't tested it.

If it would change the link domains, it should fuck up css also in some pages, but I haven't seen such problem at all. Anyways, if still that's the problem, we can always just set small interval and then redirect to not working site.

all sites wich open links in a new tab. try with cola-team.com and click the sourcebans tab. nothing will happen. if you do this with weblync and dynamic stuff it works fine and it was working fine in the past with csgo webshortcuts plugin. with ur fix it is broken.
