    Hide n Seek for TF2

Simple mod I made. I used some zombie fortress code but i edited lots so its hardly recognisable.

It's simply Pyro vs Spy. When you kill an enemy they switch to your team.
Your team wins when there is no one left on the other team.

The Pyro has to kill the spies.
The Spies have a choice of either hiding until the timer runs out or killing all the pyros.

The Pyro has increased speed and the Spies have much more cloak and virtually instant time to come out of cloak.

This is my first mod/script I've done with sourcemod. Not had chance to play with a fairly large amount of people so i'm not sure how this plays.

    Let me know.
    Thanks.

    **Update**
Balance should work now, I removed the cvar, it'll just balance equally.
You also can't swap teams once someone has been killed.
    Suicides are ignored.
The blue colorising on spies is gone.

    CVARS:
    sm_hs_on
    sm_hs_off <- turn it on / off

For some reason when i turned it on,
It switched everyone back and forth as if they were trying to join red team but kicked them to blue ..back and forth extremely fast.
Everyone was stuck at this point.

I know what you mean, I had that problem but then I fixed it "/
Do you have autobalance turned off?

Yes it should be turned off.
However, this is done automatically when you active the plugin.
I think the problem is that your activating it after the map is loaded.
A variable containing max players is initiated on map load, so try
activating the plugin then restarting the map.

When I start this on my server, the round restarts and everyone gets switched to blue. We then have to kill the blues in order to turn them into hiders.

I think spies should have unlimited cloak, or at least there should be an option to make that happen.

Otherwise, its quite a great addition to my plugins. Alot of people enjoy it, its refreshing to have a mode of play that isnt your standard tf2 game.

I also had the problem abelp is having, sort of. I'm not exactly sure what happend, but there were only 3 people in game and 1 of them was me.

I tried to switch to red but couldnt so I had one of my blue guy's kill me, and once he did I would switch rapidly from red to blue until after about 7 times the game ends with a victory/lose even when we're only 3 seconds into the round. This happend three times in a row until I decided to try and kill sum1 else and have them be hider, and that worked.

On our servers, we run SourceTV. The camera 'bot' is being forced onto a team by the mod. This, of course, prevents you from being able to win a round if the bot is not on your team. Otherwise - great idea and fun to play w/ TV off. It's also a good thing that the spy cloak recharges just as slowly as it is used.

Is there any way to force this mod to ignore 'bots'?

Poking and prodding the code, I found that simply commenting out the call to "function_Balance();" in "public Action:event_Start" did the trick of allowing sourcetv to stay in spectator mode. The plugin stops trying to balance the teams according to a formula.

Players will have to balance themselves out by agreement, with some of the pyros using "kill" to suicide themselves over to the spy team. And, of course, everyone has to agree not to just suicide themselves back to their favorite team whenever they want to

Another tweak I like is to remove the "zombie" coloration of the spies, meaning spies can effectively disguise themselves as pyros to try to "blend in".
