Not sure why this is happening. The error is caused from socket_open() not being able to initialize a socket\connection. Maybe instead of making the plugin error just have it do a second attempt?

What updates are needed? The lag is caused from the plugin initiating a connection with the steam server each time someone connects. There's not much of anything I can do about that unless the checking process is done in another way or the sockets module can be revised to avoid a lag.

I was running everything perfect until I updated amxmodx 1.8.3-dev to a more up-to-date build (I already used it, I can not remember which build) and it looks like there was an update to Socket, so I re-compiled the plugin and did a Modification, since a function was discontinued, started using socket_is_readable. But the plugin is still returning the error, what can it be?
