Hi,

after yesterday's Steam update, I've re-added the metamod bin-directory to gameinfo.txt. But when starting the server I just see entering my 2 bots (if I quickly type "meta" in the console, I also get the menu) and then my server crashes:

/mypath/srcds_run: line 344: 5396 Speicherzugriffsfehler $HL_CMD
Add "-debug" to the /opt/css/css1/srcds_run command line to generate a debug.log to help with solving this problem
Sa Aug 26 10:42:04 CEST 2006: Server restart in 10 seconds

If I delete "GameBin |gameinfo_path|addons/metamod/bin" from my gameinfo.txt, the server starts without problems again.... but also without sourcemm, of course

Any ideas?

Regards
Ben

huhm, as I've found out it's not sourcemm itself which makes the server crash, but it's Glittermod for Metamod-Source... when I delete the .so-file from glittermod, the server starts

You will need to contact the author of the plugin as it looks like it did not survive the CS:S update.

Yeah, I've already checked the forum there... http://www.siekhe-trophy.de/forum/viewtopic.php?t=735 - it's indeed a problem of Glittermod, the developer's already working on it and will probably release a fixed version next week.
Just FYI, if anybody else here has that problem
