spelworm: The poll was about functionality of menu completion, which you didn't seem to describe at all in your post.

I voted other,
I like the third option the best, but only if it included a separate option for "8. Back"

I like this format menu:

1. Player Commands -> 1. Kick Player ->
--------------------
Kick a player [1/2]
1. Player
2. SumGuy14
3. Etc...
7. Bailopan
9. Next
0. Exit
---------------
Kick a player [2/2]
1. Spelworm
8. Back
0. Exit

This method would make it veratile and easy-to-use.

I voted: Re-display on selection; exit cancels the entire menu chain

Seems logical that with many commands you may want to re-run them but with EXIT you would want to Exit.

Ideally you could choose (using a couple of flags) the behaviour for each command. That way you can decide which commands you may wan to re-run and which would require an immediate exit.

I like that way as well. That is how mani does it. 8 is always back, but wont show if not needed, 9 is always next and 0 is always exit. And I like the menu staying up after I do what ever it is I need to do. I dont like when the menu disappears after you do one thing. Just my 2 cents.
