sdk hooks was not installed until I installed sm anticheat. That is the only plugin that I have that required it.

I removed sdk hooks and the .smx's from sm anticheat and went back to SM 1.38 and MM 1.87 and my server is fine now.

So I am assuming it is sdk hooks that is causing my server to crash.

I did not try keeping the smac modules w/o sdk hooks, will they work without it? and will they work with SM 1.38?

None of the recommended modules require it. Most of the optional ones do.

I wouldn't recommend relying on older SM versions. We're planning on dropping support for them sometime after the release of SM 1.5.

Many of the newer detection methods and enhancements require SM 1.5 or later.

I cannot update to 1.5 snapshot since it has sdk hooks, so I need to stay with that works for empires until the issue is resolved. I did upgrade to 1.46 and it didn't work out either same issues, crashing and restarting my server, but that may have been due to installing sdk hooks for sm anticheat as well.
