Hey,

I have a csgo Server and I want to add an admin but Not in the admin plugin because it is not very good.
I have a Rcon password but I use it allone. And have anyone an idea to add a second Rcon password with lower rights maybe only to use this commands: cheats 1, pausematch , restard game


I hope anyone can help me.

Sounds like you want an admin system.... Also "Not in the admin plugin because it is not very good." What's wrong with it?

You can use the admin system and couple that with the admin_override features to limit access to your admins (or groups) to certain commands

The admin system can handle 99% of everyone's desires and from what you are asking for, you fall in that 99%

To answer your question in the PM you sent me OP: sv_cheats 1 allows players to use the command ent_create which creates an entity on the map. So if they create the point_servercommand entity with ent_create then they can run any commands they want on the server's console even though they have no admin rights.

You open a giant can of worms with sv_cheats 1, and it only should ever be really used in development environments only like mapping.

Now to actually answer your real question you likely will need a separate plugin if the current admin system doesn't do it for you.

Ok thank you. But i dont understand that really good so can you give me a short example with this commands that you use. What I must use in my consol ?

And when i need a plugin do you have a plugin for me ?
