Are these still big no no here?

There is a plugin that does one function but, it also spams an ad. In that ad it tells you to type something into chat to be taken to a groups page. Last I checked doing that was a big no no here.

Has that changed? If not, who do I report it to?

If you have webshortcuts plugin you can just add a command !group with your steam group link and it will open up in the MOTD. This is allowed and you are already logged into steam ingame so you can just click the "Join group" button in the motd window. Auto inviting plugins are not allowed.

If you want players to join your group i suggest to give credits to who joins it

When you going to find someone that wanna make this plugin ... let me know m8. I will like to pay for it. Not to many people know how to work with steam api and make one plugin like this.

There are some servers that use plugins like this ... invite players on join. They save the steamids that are invited to not spam and thats it ... nobody gets group deleted or accounts banned ... still nobody wanna make one plugin.

Actually what happens the join group button shows up but, you have to log in on that page to do so. This is what kinda worries me about a particular plugin that does that. Who knows where the link is really taking you to or where you are having to use your log in info.
