Dedicated server help!!

I have made a CSDM (cs:cz death match) on a steam dedicated server and I have opend all necessary ports in my router and i have turned off my firewall and opened ports in it to and i still cant get the server off of LAN!! Can anybody help me>!!

I click on my steam dedicated server icon on my desktop

make a stand alone server, it's the easiest way.
seach with the right keywords:

I have all this stuff done with the dedicated server and I want to use a dedicated server. i just want to know how to get a dedicated server online so my friends can see it.

Ensure that the doors are actually released.
keep your firewall turned off.

well i broke down and made a standalone server but i don't see it online or in my lan so i am back with the DEDICATED SERVER! can you please help me.
