Hells Gamers have been hacked many times because there databases are open to all ip and do not have any type of brute for protection enabled. Also there source ban use to not be updated witch i see now they fixed but still they are just some kids if you are not retarted and only allow ip you know that will make one less week point in your security. Also the fact they have been know to run undated software i am surprised they do not get hit more.

That just shows someone with root powers going crazy with them. Any evidence it was a Sourcebans hole that allowed them to raise their priviledges?

Yes. And? There has been no proof so far that a current version of Sourcebans (or even Sourcebans at all) is to blame for it.
