[L4D2] Server custom content

I know there are cvars like "sv_downloadurl".
Is there a way for players to see custom character models installed by other players in the server?

I've found a possible way in this forum before (if I'm not mistaken), but I can't find this thread now...

You need to install custom character models in your server and fastdl first
