"Fake" players taking up slots

Hello,
I have a 1v1 server and a while ago i started getting these empty players taking up server slots, however in the past days it has gotten worse and there are 20 fake players and only 10 legit players. I am assuming this is related to some plugins I have, as it happened in another server i cloned fr the first server using the same files.
Here is a screenshot of the issue.
I will probably reinstall the server, but id like to know whether other people are experiencing this issue?

I get those on my vanilla servers, too. Have you tried this plug-in yet, or something similar? https://forums.alliedmods.net/showthread.php?p=2529931

Not sure did I read somewhere and is it true:
When player get kicked (or he disconnect some reason) too early while he connecting to server, could cause this ?

So player need enter fully in game first.

But I haven't tested.

I was having the same issue with my CS:GO 1v1 servers. The plugin Ghostofmybrain posted fixed the issue on my servers. The explanation of the bug is included in the plugin's thread I believe.

Installed this plugin right away, the issue seems to be gone. Thanks.
