Plugins errors

i have 2 errors and i dont kno what it means.

L 06/29/2007 - 22:28:59: [AMXX] Plugin "amx_super.amxx" failed to load: Plugin uses an unknown function (name "cs_set_user_nvg") - check your modules.ini.

i dont know, i use the gameservers.com amxmodx package (amxx 1.71)

are you talkin about cstrike_amxx_i386.so?

That's outdated. Use AMX Mod X 1.76d.

yeah... i will.

it is safe to just update amxx? and stay with my .cfg and .ini files. i dont want to lose my configs :S

or i need a complete reinstall?

IIRC, there weren't any changes to the config file system that would break backwards compatability. So I would assume just a simple upgrade would suffice.

You can always view the changelogs to make sure.

i see few changes in the .ini files.
example: modules.ini

it is like
;engine_amxx_i386.so
instead of
;Engine

do you think small changes like this can fuck up my amxx?

Well you see modules are auto-enabled in the latest version. Just copy + past your plugins.ini and users.ini into a back-up file then replace them with the newly made files. Then do an upgrade, and if that doesn't work just do a complete re-install of AMXX and use the former back-up files to restopre your configs.

So upgrade first, if that doesn't work back up users/plugins.ini and then re-install. Upgrade should work.
