[FF2] How can i enable Melee knockback

Hi, i pretty much dislike the anti knockback against melee for the Hale, how can i turn that off so people got a chance to melee the Hale at all?
Using the latest Unofficial Freak Fortress fork atm

I don't know the reason but while vanilla ff2 has a lot knockback with melees but some other forks don't have that
