    Hi,

    This plugin was originally designed to fix a problem occuring in mg_big_city map.
    Players are often killed by vehicles, such as the helicopter, while driving them (and I doubt it was meant by the mapper, it looks more like a source games bug to me).
    It simply protects clients against world damages inflicted by world entities like vehicles, or any object hitting them with a high speed.

    I then figured out that it could be useful on some other maps, and decided to make it public.
    As it can prevent accidental deaths when driving, but doesn't prevent players from being killed by lasers or fire for instance, I definitely recommend to use this plugin in mg_big_city and mg_starwars_v2_4, for a full experience of these maps.

    Plugin cvar:

    sm_bgfix_enabled 1/0

    Installation:

    Simply drop bgfix_rev.smx in your addons/sourcemod/plugins folder.

    - Plugin version: 2.1 (public version).

    - This plugin requires SDK Hooks: http://forums.alliedmods.net/showthread.php?t=106748.
    For this reason, you can't compile it with the web compiler. Please download the provided smx file.
    EDIT: Since SM 1.5, SDK Hooks is included in Sourcemod.

    I must say, I don't even know this mod. Is it a CS:S mod? (in some mg maps?)

    Alright, I downloaded the map musicalrooms_b3 and tested it, and yes, you need to disable bgfix for this map.
    Anyway personally I turn this fix off and enable it only on the maps where I need it, i.e. maps containing vehicles that you can drive.

    To do this, use a map configs plugin such as this one: https://forums.alliedmods.net/showthread.php?p=607079
    and in your sourcemod.cfg, set sm_bgfix_enabled 0, then in your map configs files (like mg_big_city.cfg for example), set sm_bgfix_enabled 1.
