I have my server running fine. It's just sometimes when I try to connect it won't let me connect until I change my ipaddress. Anyone know why this is. The server is just a spare computer right next to me running on DMZ Plus mode.

bump lol I think it's because both server and myself are going out from the same external ipaddress

I have a 2wire uverse router/modem and a netgear wgt624 router which is being used as a wireless access point. The server's internal ipaddress is the same as the external because of DMZ plus mode. I've tried just port forwarding as well, but the same problem occurs. I have to change my gaming computers ipaddress to connect. It only happens to me though anyone else can connect no problem.

back in my Manitimes I had a Server which blocked IPparsing. This means:

2 Players with the same (or almost the same) IP aren't allowed on the Server. I never got the sence of this.....

Is there something equal in SM? I can't think of something similiar or I just doesn't remember ^^

But maybe this was the right hint for this problem

Another idea:
Do u have a fix IPadress in ur computer or is it set automaticaly? If set to auto, then try to give ur computer a fix IP.

My server has a fixed ip because like I said the internal = external for my server because of DMZ plus mode.

My computer I set it to a static ip. Even with dynamic it doesnt change often. Sometimes I'll release/renew and itll just pick up the same address.

You should connect to the internal IP of your server, not the public one.
