When the ban list page (index.php?p=banlist) is displayed, mysqld uses 100% cpu and the page takes 22 seconds to finish loading.

I have 2837 bans with 30 bans displayed per page. The database is MyISAM. Any idea how i can fix this without changing to InnoDB?

which php extension is it using? mysql or mysqli?

The current version of Sourcebans uses mysql but i found a post by someone else explaining how to change it to mysqli. It does it to both of them.

It only happens when the bans are read. Oddly, this issue only started happening after i imported the banned_user.cfg files from my Gmod servers.

actually, I recommend you get rev 160 for latest bug fixes and it uses mysqli(if you got latest php you will get warnings with rev 160)

WildCard65 is telling you to use the SVN/Beta version (not 2.0), not the Release version.

Google Code does not provide ZIP files for Subversion hosting, so you'll have to install Subversion and run

svn checkout http://sourcebans.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/ sourcebans-r160

Yami, there is bug fixes that the zip release doesn't include.
