Lucky you if you can chroot. ;-) I had to make a ld.so wrapper. But glibc-2.8-20081020 seems to be working OK as far as FPS is concerned. Don't know if and when it could be rectified, so probably it's your best bet to update the OS.

Hey guys a little update for hlds and amx. Very weird issue. My hlsw doesnt work 'properly'. All functions work. But it doesnt update. Being if i change map, it will change it but not display it in hlsw. I contacted hlsw and they assure me its not the program as many others are fine.

Running servers with amx, so i removed amx (yet again). Then my hlsw updated fine. Can anyone tell me what in amx would make hlsw do this?

It appears that Valve changed the Server Query protocol for HL1 servers. But they haven't told anyone what changes were made. So for now, were screwed.

As far as I know they switched to the Source Engine server queries.

Not exactly. The Info query USE to be the same for both HL1 & HL2 servers (see THIS REFERENCE). However, the response ID code was different to enable you to tell what type of server it was. Now if I send the query to a non-Source/HL1 server, I get no response at all. Sending to a Source/HL2 server still works fine.

As far as I know, the update introduced a bug where servers not registered on the master list did not respond to queries. Is that your issue?

Its wierd, i have 5 servers. 3 dod, 1 cs, 1 do source. Of course the source one works on hlsw. The cs and 2 x dod ones dont respond straight away (hlsw works, but takes like 20 mins to 30 mins to respond) One dod server works perfectly fine with hlsw. As i said weird.
