First thing I do after installing mirc is selecting black bg and some light gray-coloured text, then I change the colorus of all the remaining text events displaying in black to some other viewable colour.

Staring into white bg all the time doesn't feel too good to my eyes at least ;-)

All I use mIRC for, is to chat with Teegtahn manley. Sometimes just to idel, and for OTHER usees ;).

MSNChat had "scripters" that used mIRC for chat, idle, room protection and other things. MSNChat had a little different way than normal IRC by giving the room owner a password to +q (Owner Access) and +o where just hosts.

now people where making test rooms for seeing whos protections were the fastest, by giving everyone owner access and then preforming "takes" which changed the room password, -q'd everyone and then changed the password again, and these protections would kick in and record the password everytime it changed, then when the user was -q'd the protection would execute the password as fast as possible then either kick the user that -q'd them or -q the user. and change the password.

it was all about who could execute the password 1st.

now these people where actually making it pretty cool for awhile, since MSNChat wasnt pure IRC and each room had its own IP address, "scripters" and to write "connections" to connect to a room and chat ect. and (as i remember) fast lil bitches that would join rooms in under 0.1 seconds, execute protections in under 0.2 seconds (fastest record STILL held by me)
