To compile this plugin you will need to use your sourcemod installation. Do the following:

1. Drop your .sp script file into the scripting/ directory of your sourcemod installation.
2. Copy the extension's tf2autobalance.inc include file into the scripting/include/ directory.
3. From within the scripting/ directory type: ./compile.sh yourpluginname.sp
4. Copy the resulting .smx file out of the scripting/compiled/ directory into your plugins/ directory.

If your extension is installed properly, simply loading the extension and your newly compiled plugin should do the trick.

update: So i got everything compiled perfectly. The plugin loads fine, yet when anyone connects into the server it instantly crashes. Possibly from the latest update? Maybe some outdated gamedata?

t3hdude,

Did you update the gamedata as indicated on the previous page of this thread? The offsets changed last week, and it caused me some strange trouble until I figured it out.

It appears people with the custom 5 flag are still getting balanced. Plugin and extensions say they are loaded with no errors. Game data is updated to the latest. Any thoughts?

Thanks for the info. I have occasionally seen this happen as well, though I hadn't seen it since the halloween update on my servers. Interesting to know it still happens.

I added some logging to the plugin and extension to try and track down just what is happening when a bad balance occurs. Let me know if you are interested, and I can send you my custom build of the extension+plugin with the logging. Perhaps we can track this down.
