Hello,

I am hosting a CS:GO ZE server and am experiencing lag between rounds. I will post all server specs, server.cfg, and relevant information below after i have explained my situation.

When the player count goes up clients times out for X amount of seconds at round end, depending on how many clients are in the server at the time. It starts at around 10 clients. At 10 ppl it's not too bad, but when it gets over 20+ players it can be really bad where clients can be timing out for 5+ seconds.

Console spams this when round ends:

I have googled for endless hours and all people are saying is that it's a form of denial of service. I know for a fact that it isn't as this is too consistent and the patterns for when and how it happens isn't anything like a dos at all.

Some people are saying adding these cvars helps:

In addition to this i am running a performance.cfg by having exec performance.cfg in my server.cfg. The performance.cfg looks like this:

And lastly my server rates (64-Tick server):

Nothing of the above helps. I have tried changing cvars, rates, and everything else. Testing the plug-ins one by one will be a little difficult for me considering i need around 10 ppl in the server to be able to replicate the issue.

I am quite certain it has nothing to do with the specs of the machine itself as none of the other servers lags when this happens but i will post a spec list and a sm plugins list below:

Error logs shows nothing of relevancy but can be provided if necessary.

My full server.cfg if needed:

With a -tickrate 64 parameter in the run file it should be 64. It says so in the net graph at least anyway. And i have tried having my rates at 64, that's not where the issue lies at all. It makes no difference, the problem persists regardless of rates and tickrate.

Why? That is for people who aren't using fast DL and wants to speed up the download speed for files under 64mb. I have a web server that serves content at much higher speeds.

@John, it's a little hard to say as i was testing the server with 3-4 ppl max before release. At release it was pretty much finalized so i had no way of narrowing it down any more.

@ambn I am thinking the same thing, but i can't figure out which one. The only thing in the error logs is about a zr stats plug-in that tracks players kill count, infect count, damage dealt etc. It does nothing on round_start.

That will be my next course of action if nobody here are able to help me. I would rather try to avoid that as i would need to test with 10+ ppl in the server after every single plug-in removal.
