Trying to set up the plugin on my CS:GO server. Running into some problems with connecting to the database. Receiving an error message
Code:
[sourcebans.smx] Database failure: [1045]: Access denied for user 'source_user'@'127.0.0.1' (using password: YES). See FAQ: http://www.sourcebans.net/node/20
Ran it in the SQL query and it gave this error:
Code:
[sourcebans.smx] Failed to retrieve admins from the database, 'source_bans.a.immunity' isn't in GROUP BY
Changing the host database.cfg to the socket file gives the same error.
Any suggestions? The MySQL database is on the same box as the server.

Thank you in advance.

Yeah we figured it out. It was the MySQL database's version. But now it seems we have another problem. It seems like it's failing to run the command "sm_rehash". It seems to not exist. Any suggestions? Think it'll be easier to use one thread for this rather then make another one.

sm_rehash was removed in the 1.5.0 beta plugin, if you use that. Use sm_reloadadmins instead, which is provided in sourcemod's stock basecommands.smx.

Edit: What's been your mysql version and where did you switch to?

Well, I just talked to my partner, it wasn't the MySQL version but the error came up because we had strict syntax enabled. Our current version of MySQL is 5.5.3. CS:GO is currently working but we're having a little trouble with our CS:S server. It seems like it won't connect at all, trying to run some RCON commands through web RCON and it would reply "Failure to connect to server". Our RCON password is correct and it's also running off the same server as the CS:GO one.

EDIT: I really don't understand, both share nearly identical settings but it works on one but not the other.

And your web server has access to the TCP port of your CS:S server?

It shouldn't need to. The web server and the CS:S server are on the same box. But yes, the UCP and TCP are both open.
