Providing scripting suggestions in the requests forum is fine, if nothing else it may help anyone who eventually writes the plugin (including the OP).

Oh my gosh, your common sense is SO BAD!

If this section is supposed to be used for scripting advice, then why does it even exist? If someone who has no clue of how plugins are made, posting something like "use a pev and a bool" will always result in "i cant under stand". You're basically encouraging posting useless comments which won't help the author. Let's not forget that the author of the thread is the one who is asking for help, and not someone who wants to create the plugin for him. If that someone asks for help, in that case it's okay to reply TO HIM how to do it, and not to the author who is not a scripter and won't understand anything you're saying.
