Those files come with L4D and L4D2. So everyone has them. In fact, even if you installed replacements for those models, you're game still has them. Those files can't be removed (even if they are not used) or the game won't run.

I think the reason they show up as missing has to do with server file consistency. But don't sweat it. The Tank, Boomer, Smoker, and Hunter models everyone has despite those messages.

They are not in mine though, can you screenshot your folder setup of that directory? ANd if so, upload the content, cause I reinstalled l4d clean, still don't have these files...

I think the problem is that they shouldn't be in the download table. It makes no sense when the client has those files anway.
That is probably a game bug.

Yep. That's exactly it. As I mentioned those files come with the games and can't be removed. You need gcfscape installed to see them. Then open "left 4 dead\left4dead\pak01_dir.vpk". And the files are located in "models\infected".

No problem. I finally got around to try the plugin. Not sure what I'm doing wrong but I couldn't get it to work at first. Was looking to see if there was some config file but there was none. Then I finally noticed I had to change the IP in the source. I think it works now. Thanks.

The one that I posted? It should work and show you that you are downloading files, then it disappears and the game loads up.

Been testing this. It does work but the console window does not always close on it's own. Sometimes it even opens up twice. But it's not that big of a deal.
