thanks ive gotten everything working now.

the only problem im having now is with banning groups. after about 20 seconds i get a pop up

Error: the server returned the following HTTP status: 500 received: 500

when i look at the ban list it bans about 20 players before the error and if i refresh a minute or so later it has banned a few more but then stops banning altogether.

i grabbed part of my error log. is there anyplace I can pm the whole thing?

It depends on what you mean. There will be a lot of database changes and 2.0 won't be backwards compatible with 1.x, but there will of course be an upgrade script available.

Edit: to add to this (and I hope I don't get shouted at for this), SB 2.0 will require at least PHP 5.2 and MySQL 5.0. I believe a lot of webhosts still run PHP 5.1.x for some reason, but 5.2 simply allows us to do some stuff that makes our life easier, so. If you don't have either of these, I suggest you get a new host when SB 2.0 is released

I have 5 public servers and 4 match servers. Is it possible to have an admin with different permissions on different servers?
So the same admin cannot exec files on public but can on a match server.
I have public servers in a server group, but match servers are individual because they are assigned to different teams in my clan, so basically one member of a team can have permissions on all public servers but only 1 match server and his permissions will be different on the public servers to that particular match server.

if you make a file with all admins groups and give all groups exec rights in this file.
Then you exec this file in server.cfg
Now they will have that rights :-)

its not possible now in the webbinterface, and I guess it wont be ..

if someone is refreshing the adminrights, it will be lost :-(

thats not good. suprised that you cannot do this tbh. different servers require different types of admin access to the same person.

I'm curious, I didn't see anything that stands out in PHP 5.2 realease notes. What are the features you'll need, the JSON ext?

For example yes, I can't find a list of functions that were added in PHP 5.2, but the JSON ext is at least one of them.

what ports need to be open for sourcebans to run just 3306? still hving problems where this works on our windows box but are getting errors on our linux box
