Some people reporting that with "thriller" taunt on..even if they get normal taunt they are not getting their taunt achievements...perhaps not a big deal for most but on an "achievement" server not so good...probably can't be avoided?

Nope, it is instant. However, when changing it mid map, I've noticed only passing the command via rcon will work. (sm_rcon sm_tf2holiday 2)

Looks like 1.3.4 has the hook necessary to use this now.

Awesome mod, thanks a lot.

An admin flag setting would be spectacular.

What's the difference between sm_tf2holiday 0 and sm_tf2holiday 1?

If the game would normally be in birthday or halloween mode, 1 disables it. 0 means the plugin itself does nothing.

Normally, when would the birthday mode be used? Is that for TF2's birthday, or is it when a user is celebrating a birthday... if it is the latter, how does it know? Through the DOB set in Steam?

Also, using this plugin in halloween mode... can players earn halloween achievements and wear halloween hats? I am assuming they would be able to...

It's on TF's (the original) birthday, August 24.

I haven't tried it after this year's halloween update, but at least before then, it worked to allow wearing the paper bag mask. It also enables the thriller taunt.
