we are running 1.0 but log files are not being created. We have the core.ini setting set to log daily (i.e amxx_logging 1).

CAn anyone explain why it might not be logging?

that cvar you put to 1 isn't what you think it is. IT logs all ADMIN commands and such, not game stuff. You have a thing in amxmodx\logs, check it out and see? Yuo'll have files with just AMXX stuff.

I know exactly what that cvar is supposed to do. My problem is that I don't even have an amxmodx/logs folder on the server. It hasn't created that folder or the files. Should I create the folder and see if that helps?

I am anxious to start loggin admin commands so I can check up on my admins and see who is abusing and who isn't.

Any suggestions?

Why Lantz? AMXX does it itself. I never had to create a logs folder. IT really couldn't help it, if it can't even create the folder it won't create the logs.

Show us your core.ini, and see if it's like this:

amxx_logdir addons/amxmodx/logs
amxx_configsdir addons/amxmodx/configs
