object_deflected
Name: object_deflected
Structure:
short userid player who deflected the object
short ownerid owner of the object
short weaponid weapon id (0 means the player in ownerid was pushed)
byte object_entindex entindex of the object that got deflected


It seems that object_entindex has been removed. This is somewhat annoying, as it tells us what the object being airblasted was. This was useful for things like dodgeball. Does anyone have any good ideas for tracking when objects get deflected other than tracking them on timers... Perhaps by using some conservative sdkhooks function?

All my plugins that access that removed info are crashing servers. :\

Wow...so that's why people were apparently "able to airblast people" on my server. Nice.

I'm thinking, as a hacky method, that event could still be hooked, and in that frame or the next few frames, check for TFCond_Dazed (or whatever the condition is)

You can use the tf2 attribute airblast flags from mvm and disable clients by only setting projectile flags.. That way clients will be ignored but projectiles will be deflected. This is good for dodgeball, but does not fix my problem with this event.

Think is also gone from tf projectiles... Can't hook it now.
This was useful for things like... Homing missiles.

I know, had the same issue.
Word is rockets are more valve-like now, but you didn't hear it from me.

Rocket-soundbug still isn't fixed (officially it is but they don't care). They just hate dodgeball.

Iv had to move rocket thinks to timers or gameframe... Ugly.
Also, i notices rockets no longer hit teammates in arena mode like ff2. At least that is finally fixed.

Ok so this is apparently the issue with homing rockets I'm having and nothing to do with offset changes.

But according to that little quote above by Dr.Greg House that voided stated it would be returned on the next update which was last night and still this isn't working.
