Has anyone noticed that FPSBanana.com is now Gamebanana.com? In addition to the name change, the website now has a different layout (harder to navigate if you ask me). The reason I bothered asking is that the gazillion files that were once hosted by FPSBanana are now unavailable for download at Gamebanana, I think.

Did I miss anything? Does anyone know what's happening to FPSBanana? I can't seem to find anything on Google about what's happening with the site and their blog has no posts (EDIT: it does now), so I'm guessing this is something the site changed very recently.

Serious question? As far as I can tell it was abandoned a very long time ago, it was riddled with exploits, many images had viruses embedded, pages had exploits embedded, the community as a hole was generally retarded, 11 years old or just trolls, maybe even toaster ovens. The search facilities were shit and there was no admin or moderators that I could ever tell.

Whether its shit because of a revamp or not I have no idea but I do know that a revamp means someone actually gives a shit now or is at least trying to.

That site had so much potential and could of generated revenue as well as free community participation yet it did jack shit. maybe the owner at some point grew up or got pox of the cakehole and died?

luckily, I have browsed all the skins of cs1.6 , cscz , and HL1 (some days ago). then I had downloaded the most beatiful skins. if someone needs some of them, just give the name and description, maybe I have it

Damn, never knew FPSbanana was that screwed up. I only downloaded TF2 and CS:S maps from that website. And some of the maps submitted to the website were very high quality, so I would have never thought the community would be full of trolls and such.

Also, all the files that were once on FPSBanana are still available on Gamebanana. It is just that Google hasn't updated its search results to accommodate the new URL, so I thought said files I was looking for were unavailable. Plus, Gamebanana's search engine is total crap.

Yeah the russian site got wonderful models, and if you use Google chrome = instant translation.
