I like what you've done. Now myself and teammates are not hurt when FF is off in HL2COOP. However, the gas doesn't kill NPC neither ! Can you look into it pls?

Other feaures requested:

(1) Add cvar admin_amount: 1, 2, .... 0 for unlimited

(2) Add cvar showmessage 1/0, enable or disable gas attack message

Well I added this to my server and it works great. I even added a color to match my servers color scheme. Great job!

Guessing your problem might be the same thing I saw in another mod I was having a flag issue with. Try adding all the flags in your admin_groups.cfg (example: "z" would not work but "abcdefghijklmnz" worked for catching the flag issue) you are adding thos flags anyway using the "z" by itself.

I can certainly add the two cvars.
As for the custom point_hurt not working...I suspect that ForcePlayerSuicide() may be the issue. It may only be supported by a few mods. It doesn't work on DoDS bots, for example, but does on CSS bots and TF2 bots.

In fact your initial version can kill the NPC monsters. The monsters are not like bots as they are not indicated in player list. I wonder the point_hurt for NPC should be quite different from players/bots.

One of my clan member gave me an excellent idea for this mod. A cvar that adds the semi-blindness/crazy drugged etc.. for both sides when they are in the gas. that would be an awsome added effect as many clans adjust the gas lethality up and down trying to get the right killer effect. It would be nice to have a compelling effect like that when we have the gas set low.
What do you think?

huihui, i maked a fart sound if somebody is interested in... Unzip this in your sound folder and overwrite the original mortar.mp3 x)

nice work, see what carnage unfolds later today with a full server, one thing with ff hurting gas is you can change class in spawn and call in another gas bomb before the other has even hit so a time delay between calling it in would be useful to prevent abuse

Would you consider addressing the CVAR to turn the mod OFF/ON. I would like to be able to run this mod on specific maps
