i need someone to give me an example of a menu using old style menus, can someone help me?

Look at all the existing plugins that use it. The plugins that come with AMX Mod X use the "old" style menus. Also, if you can use the "new" style menus then do it. Why do you think you need to use the "old" style menus?

That's not a reason to use one over the other.

If you don't know then use the "new" menu system.

For what purpose? Why would you do that? The numbers are how you choose the option you want to select. There are several things that you can change that many people probably don't know about. Check out the preprocessor definitions at the top of the include file.
