I just need to know the name of the weapon that the player picked up.
I'm interested in server load information.
Which option is more optimal?

cs source, or csgo, it's not never mind.
cpu, ram etc (server load) - it interests me. How much heavier the function.
I can not normally express my thoughts, because using translator.
SDKHook_WeaponEquipPost vs item_pickup it's like OnGameFrame vs CreateTimer(0.1 maybe?

well seeing that events are fired anyways it comes down to what you put into the function really.
However i don't think you'll see any 'performance issues' to worry about especially on a pickup event lmao.

Just use item pickup event and get the item string from the event...no need to hook weapon equip for just getting the weapon name...
