He actually means virtualization, starting from the RC1, you can download a specially packaged version of Virtual PC, that comes with an fully valid XP SP3 license, and configured to run a XP desktop, with the option to integrate VM's running apps with normal ones (like VMWare Unity or VirtualBox's Seamless mode).

Unfortunately it only works in processors with AMD-V or Intel VT extra instructions, which are not present in my E7300

In my setup, WinXP is on a different physical drive than Win7. I didn't do anything fancy like manual setup or bios changes.

I have nVidia, but I'll have to look into that. D3D seemed to work ok, though.
