KZ is not a mod, but a map.
There are plugins written to make the map more fun to play and it helps players on the map.

KZ is actually Kreedz.
It is a collection of climbing maps that you jump or other actions to get from start to end.
Some maps have timers to make it a challenge to get the best time.

It depends, i for example dont like or play any of those mods that dont have shooting in itself, like kz, hns, surf, dr etc.
