Last time I checked Black Ops was a pretty graphics hard game, and you most likely wont be able to play it unless it is in lowest quality which is just sad, and you cannot call that a "gaming" laptop.

A game cannot destroy a computer.
When looking back at your topics I'll say that you destroyed it by using it incorrectly. If you pile it up with a lot of useless free programs and click on links which says "free porn", you are going to destroy your computer.

The video you sent is using a 525M graphics card, not a 520M which is in that alienware. The difference is quite big between those two graphics cards actually. Compare the links below to see the difference.

It can. If a CPU gets overheated, it will get damaged eventually.

Can't remeber the exact model, but it was something like a AMD ATHLON, and the motherboard I can't really remeber. And when I played Black ops, usually my graphics card over heated and then the computer just crashed. And after a while my hardrive died, black ops might not of destroyed it but when that was like on of my only games I played I had all these problems.

Ok, so the alienware's graphics card ain't as good as the 525M. I got the same laptop as the guy in that video if it is all true, I just got like a GB less ram.

ASUS models are usually pretty good.

Do NOT buy HP electronics. No matter what you buy from HP, it's all shit and their days are numbered.

Nonsense. While their laptops indeed do have the lowest reliability rate, not all of their products are bad. And their days are anything but numbered, considering their market shares in the segments they compete in.

In my experience with HP...

I bought an entire desktop set when I was younger, the monitor was recalled and I didn't find out until my monitor just up and broke one day. The power supply just ended up dying and the only way to turn the computer on was to open it up and keep putting in the umbilical cord until the green light would stay solid. Even the mouse and keyboard they gave me crapped out.

My brothers both had HP laptops, one brother had his hinge on his screen break, that sucked. He also had his graphics card overheat, and he doesn't game or play an excessive amount on it. The other brother's computer just ended up dying one day.

Hey, it might just be my family's bad luck, and it might not be, but I really will never buy an HP product again. This is just my story, but if you want to buy HP, go for it.

I have also had quite some bad experiences with HP. In general, all their cases is put together in such way, that it is impossible to disassemble the computer if you are not some kind of rocket scientist. And it seems like they put screws random places just to annoy the person who is working with it.

And don't even get me started on the software.
