after the new HLDSUpdate / SteamCMD ... the plugin failed to generate steam id for valve_id_lan or stam_id_lan players ..

is there any why .by which every player on sv will have an unique id ... after HLDSUpdate / SteamCMD ..


it causes prob to ban hackers from server ..

This is not an issue with amxx but your illegal hacked server. This forum only supports STEAM servers. Make your server STEAM-ONLY and you have your unique numbers for each player and additionally solved your hacker problem.

There are no LAN players on a real STEAM only server. Eigther it is a public server where everyone has a unique STEAM_ID or it is a LAN server but never both of them.

If so, restart your server. Just like it was mentioned above, you aren't running a STEAM only server.

STEAM players NERVER had valve_id_lan. If you connect to an outdated server/LAN server with a steam-client you will eigther have steam_id_lan or steam_id_pending.

And do not PM me for support. This subforum is only for ISSUES with the standart amxx packages, not about anything else related to amxx or plugins from 3rd parties.

amxx never generated steam-id's, only dproto did that.
