so i wanted a lower group_type_D for certain admins
group "grp_vote_typeD" "vote" "aegjk" etc...

i gave it to an admin, is there anything else i need to do to groups or other files?
and if someone could direct me the correct post on how to add a groups that would be great thanks

You would just need to add the group and the flags for the group in the uaio_groups.ini file and then in the uaio_admins.ini file use the newly created group to give them that group access.

So, to recap, add the group designation to uaio_groups.ini w/ the command flags that the particular group can access. Then take that group and add it to the admin line for that particular person in uaio_admins.ini.

uaio_admins.ini (assuming you created a new vote, good, evil, and misc group for all of these admins, and they all ended in typeD):

admin "413117" "grp_vote_typeD grp_good_typeD grp_evil_typeD grp_misc_typeD"

If you want to add more groups than the default you have to recompile the plugin after you edit the file uaio_const.inc in /scripting/uaio_inc/ to set for a higher group count. Or you can just edit the groups you have.
