I don't know if it matters or not, but I completely deleted my Sourcemod and Metamod folders when I did the install. Basically it was a fresh installation and then put the few plugins I had back in and it seemed to work.

Well if i deleted the bin it works, but non of the commands work then, Can someone link me to the newest version of the bin or whatever?

ok @Polartop... I try help.
It's hard to know from this sitting what extensions+plugins you have installed your server.

So if you are willing to do this way.
move ...addons/metamod.vdf file out of that addons folder (move it one folder up), then reboot server.
- This way it not load MM:S and SM after reboot.

• Then just in case, download MM:S released 1.8.7 version, grab addons folder and replace yours from server overwriting all files.

• Download SM released 1.4.2 version.
  
  Take these folders from zip
  ...addons\sourcemod\bin
  ...addons\sourcemod\extensions
  ...addons\sourcemod\gamedata
  ...addons\sourcemod\translations
  ...addons\sourcemod\plugins
  
  Replace yours from server overwriting all files.
  - This way you not lose your SM configurations.

• Go your server ...addons\sourcemod\plugins\, create "New folder".
  Move all plugins.smx in new folder, move new folder in ...addons\sourcemod\plugins\disabled\
  - This is one way prevent server crash upon start up and you find your plugins among others, SM can update gamedata files when server run.

• Just in case, go your server ...addons\sourcemod\extensions\, create "new folder".
  Tap column date or date modified to arrange files by date.
  Pick files what have different date/time that most of files and move in new folder
  - Second way prevent server crash, and you maybe have now SM base extensions running.

• Now do test, move metamod.vdf file back in ...addons/ folder, reboot server.
  Will it still crash ?
  If not, SM should update new gamedata files if something not block it.
  - You can make sure gamedata files are update, download newest snapshot and pick gamedata folder inside zip and replace yours from server overwriting all files.
  Reboot server.

• Go back your ...addons\sourcemod\plugins\disabled\new folder.
  Arrange files again by date and pick plugins what have same date. Move those in plugins folder and change level.

Try to this point. I have work to do.

Ok it starts and stuff like ban and csay work but my noclip and godmode doesn't work, Or chat tags..

maybe if you use your brains why those stop working...

Next you can try move all extensions from ......addons\sourcemod\extensions\new folder back one folder up.
Reboot server. Will it crash ??
If do, then debug problem removing one extension at time what you added. You maybe found problem.

Then do same with rest plugins.smx expect... don't move all same time in plugins folder. Try one plugin at time and look when it start crash (change levels).
You maybe found your problem.

The server starts, I type sm and all the stuff comes up, i just can't use some custom plugins, All the files are back where they should be.
