Enrealidad, no aprendi de ninguna parte, solo junto a la web de PHP buscando las funciones, y haciendo testing en Wampserver, es interesante.

No busco un porque para todo, solo lo hago. ^^

Java comparado con la competencia (lenguajes que compilan -o interpretados- para ser ejecutados en maquinas virtuales) es bastante complicado.
