Here, try my ball(s):

I made two versions - one normal and one reversed... I don't know how the writing it's mirrored in game... that's why I did two of them; the second one also spins in reverse, so the writing won't go from the end to the beginning...

I also included two skins for the ball(s) - one pearl, one more black'n white...

EDIT: OK, make them 3 skins... I added an earth globe texture...

ty. but i need a new model. without any texts... you just edited the textures

1. If you take a closer look it's not just a retexture... the globe it's remade from scratch...
Anyways... here is your simple discoball...

2. You could have used the model as is - All you needed to do was export the textures of the writings and the small satelites,
make them black and reimport them into the model checking the "transparent" checkbox and save it.
Then you would have only the globe shown up...

I just use Milkspe 3D's native UV mapper... and I can't do complex UV's... just simple ones and the most complex just edits...

Sorry I haven't been very active on this post. I started mapping a little again. Here's the one I did last week.

http://www.fpsbanana.com/maps/147668

I'm thinking of trying to do another one if I can think it out a bit in my head more, but I wanted to make a map of like a forest/bog with a swamp area, factory area, and then a junkyard area with car stacks in the middle of the map. If you guys ever need help though, just pm me. I'm always dieing to get a new interesting project started.

@Tirant : about the map, that's quite nice. I think it's a bit empty, lack of small details. (object, trace, shake, smoke, etc). About the sun/light, something like this map would be really nice and will improve the ambiance.

Hi there.

I found these models:

http://www.fpsbanana.com/skins/97299

I want to use them for a plugin, so I only need one red and one blue of them.

The problem is, I cannot open any of them. Jed's model viewer is giving me the error "Post-loading failed".
I just want to ask, does these models even work? And if not, could you help me by getting them to work?
