The conversion is;

STEAM_0:Y:X

to

[U:1:Y+(X*2)]

I will adapt the flatfile plugin to accept both formats if i can, this will allow it to be used on most servers without having to worry about which format everyone has in their databases or having issues when the game is updated to the new format

Guys pls enlighten me... which sourcemod version should I use now? 1.6 or 1.7 ? Btw. the admin flatfile admins.cfg is recognized just fine with the new Uid... I just changed it and all admins functions are back, and some plugins that depend on the flags work too.

admins.cfg is fine with the new format, just update the steamid to the new format and your fine

if your using admins_simple.ini i recommend you to use the modified version on the previous page, this allows you to use the new format in admins_simple.ini in any older version of sourcemod.

i have not updated my sourcemod to a new version yet, im sticking it out with a modified 1.6.0 and even some 1.5.2's until something more solid is done about it

(id like to see the new format being accepted, and old ids converted to the new format automatically - but we shall see)

Edit: however if all works fine, dont change versions! Im still running 1.5.2 on some of my servers, and it still works great

but please also think about Stats etc... With HLX:CE for example there is a second account created for me because of the ID...

That is why it make sense to have a tool / plugin or a update which can also calculate back.

I try now the new SourceMod Snapshot from stable branch.

So i use now 1.6.2 git 4558

All Problems with Admin and Stats are resolved at the moment. Also with SourceBans...

I will wait for the way which Sourcemod is going and decide later if i convert to new system.

With SourceMod 1.6.2 git 4558 everything is working fine without changing anything.
