The latest TF2 update brought back the "explode" console command however, if a player uses it, every death they have afterwards will result in them gibbing. This plugin forces players to explode when they first join, so everyone is always gibbing.

To install, put the .smx in your plugins folder.

Might want to notify users why they suddenly died the first time they join a team. Might also be an idea to handle this in a better method.
Rather than forcing them to explode on initial join, catching the damage event, and calculating that if they were to die, make it that they use the explode command for the first death only. The killer still gets the kill, and the player doesn't get an instant -1 kills to their score for joining a team.

To be honest, because it blocks the kill notification, I think most TF2 players wouldn't realise it had happened and as fair as I know, this also stops them getting a death added on the scoreboard.
